How does the interview coaching program begin?
The goal of each program is specifically to improve your performance interviewing. That's why each program always begins with a sample interview. It's important for OmniInterview to understand (1) what you do well naturally, and (2) where we need to focus our efforts for development.
Following that simulation interview in your first session, your coach will give you feedback and suggestions based on your performance, as well as an idea of what modules of OmniInterview's program will be most important for your improvement.
How long is an interview coaching program?
The length of a coaching program is always variable. One of the key differences between teaching and coaching is that generally coaching programs are defined by a goal rather than general objectives.
OmniInterview's interview preparation programs for non-native English speakers are meant to be quick programs. Our objective is to provide professional coaching that delivers results to clients who consider their preparation to be both important and urgent.
While it's impossible to know just how long a coaching program will last, there are three themes that are always true:
The first three sessions are the most challenging - Generally, after the fourth session clients start to feel much more confident in their communication. For this reason, OmniInterview only works with clients willing to take at least five sessions.
OmniInterview's program was designed to be completed quickly - Most interviews don't give you months and months to prepare, but are scheduled quite quickly. Our program is designed to help candidates who are in a hurry. Our objective is to help you quickly, not obligate you to attend 20 hours of coaching calls.
Work on your Discovery Activities every day - We don't want your job interview preparation to be limited to the times that we can have coaching calls. That's why we've designed a blended learning program so that you can study and prepare on your own time. Completing your Discovery Activities with an invested interest will lead to more productive Coaching Calls, which lead to more effective results.
